Since some years, traditional ordering patterns have changed. The focus is now on reduced inventories, lower costs but without decreasing the service levels and responsiveness. This demo will demonstrate how the SCM module TP/VS can bring added value in your supply chain. We will demonstrate the interactive decision support during sales order entry during which e.g. a carrier or the most optimal route in combination with some different availability checks in gATP is selected.
We will also demonstrate how a transportation planner can plan and schedule his shipment requirements and how the system can optimise the shipment load, taking into account capacity, costs, duration, etc.
Throughout the demonstration we would like point out which parameters steer the process, which master data is required to come to a feasible plan and how R/3 is integrated.
