A Supply Chain Planning and Inventory collaboration business and technology transformation project.     A project that started as part of a program where a solution was developed by SAP in conjunction with Ford, CAT Logistics and Deloitte.  After the development process of the entire Service Parts Management solution, Ford’s Customer Service Department (FCSD) implemented the Service Parts Planning (SPP) and Inventory Collaboration Hub (ICH) for running the entire aftermarket parts business.  Ford is currently using the SAP Service Parts Management system to forecast and plan a all parts (>180.000 active parts), send out daily releases to more than 1000 suppliers worlwide (managed via Inventory Collaboration Hub) and create Stock Transfer Orders for the depots.      This project represents the first implementation go-live of the new Service Parts Planning (SPP) functionality in the world and will become the standard of excellence in the aftermarket
